CARLI MOSIER

Carli Mosier was born, raised, educated and married in Houston, Texas as was her husband, Dustin Faigen. An alumna of Harvard Elementary, Lanier Middle School, HITS Theater School, The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, and the University of Houston, she has been committed to artistic and political endeavors in Houston her whole life. Her first political campaign was for Mike Driscoll, County Attorney, in the early 1980’s, continued with mock political debates in elementary school, moved on to challenging and changing the dress code at her middle school and it’s been neverending since. A third generation Democratic organizer in Houston, she’s following in the steps of her grandparents, who founded the Harris County Democrats which was started when the Democrats in Texas endorsed Eisenhower rather than Stevenson, and her parents who were active members of the Democratic Party, ROADwomen, other local Democratic organizations, and were founding members of the Silver D’s and Sisters United. She is also a voice actor in the anime and video game industries and has used this platform to engage fans in political discussions and organizing with a convention panel called Anime and Activism. Carli Mosier is committed to upholding the Democratic ideals of equality and inclusion and she’s proud to continue Diane and Bruce Mosier’s legacy.
