Our Board Members
Martha Huebel
Martha has been an indefatiguable defender of ROADWomen’s mission of electing pro-choice candidates. She has spent her weekends blockwalking and her evenings phonebanking. She has invested the extra work for years in building ROADWomen into the success it is today, making her the obvious choice for President to lead us forward in this election year.
Christyna Lewis
Christyna is the head of the Membership Committee. She has been in Houston for 20 years and is an active member of the Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce and The Caucus.
Rufi Natarajan
Rufi secures the noted speakers for ROADWomen’s monthly meetings. Her primary focus is affecting the progressive political agenda that she has supported since immigrating to the US in 1972. Her work has had a profound influence on progressive politics for Harris County.
Carli Mosier
Carli was born, raised, educated, and married in Houston as was her husband, Dustin Faigen. An alumna of Harvard Elementary, Lanier Middle School, HITS Theater School, The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, and the University of Houston, she has been committed to artistic and political endeavors in Houston her whole life.
Mary Anne Friedrich
Mary Ann has been a member of ROADWomen since 2000. After retirement, she became more active in the organization and her commitment has made a huge difference. ROADWomen’s support of women's issues means the most to her but she also loves the camaraderie among its members. Mary Ann is also a Precinct Chair, and she works hard to get out the vote by blockwalking and phonebanking.

Kat Castro Clemons
Kat is a native Houstonian, a wife, a mother of two, and serves as the Development Director for Bay Area Turning Point, a nonprofit that offers critical support to victims of domestic and sexual assault.. Kat holds leadership roles as Vice Chair of Membership for the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Communication Chair for The Rotary Club of Space Center, and is a dedicated Toastmaster. She hopes to inspire young women to find their voice, take bold steps, and perhaps, one day, run for office themselves.
David Galvin
David is a native Houstonian and a product of public schools in Spring Branch ISD. He first got involved in politics as a volunteer for Organizing for America. In 2024 he got elected as a national delegate to the Democratic National Convention. He has worked for organized labor, Texas Blue Action Democrats, and for various local campaigns. David is a Precinct Chair and works on civic outreach through multiple outlets across Houston.
Robin Fulford
Robin is the Hospitality Chair for ROADWomen and secures refreshment sponsors for our meetings. She’s been active in our organization since the pandemic. Robin also Founded Democratic Club of The Woodlands and established the first Dem PAC in that area. Additionally she’s a Precinct Chair, an Election Judge, and has served on the HCDP Resolutions Committee and the HCDP County Convention Fundraising Committee. In 2022, Robin was the Democratic Nominee for US Congress in TX-CD2. She loves identifying and building out leaders everywhere she go, and she believes that ROADWomen is a great place to do that.
Leif Hatlen
Originally from San Francisco, California, Leif Hatlen has lived for long periods in many other parts of the world: Alaska, Norway, and Canada, as well as spending time in Algeria. He was educated at the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated in 1965.
Sharon Williams
Sharon, a lifelong Texas Democrat, writes a monthly column for the ROADwomen e-newsletter and assists with the audio-visual setup for meetings. She has over thirty years experience in corporate communications and television and theater production. An active member of the Rotary Club of West U, she currently serves as a board member of the West U Rotary Foundation Board.
Wendy Wilkinson
Wendy updates the website. She’s also works with the ROADWomen phonebank. Additionally, she volunteers with HCDP with data organization. She started on the Advisory Board in 2024.
