Our August Monthly Meeting will feature speakers State Representative Ann Johnson and State Representative candidate Lauren Ashley Simmons.
Representative Ann Johnson was elected to serve as State Representative for Texas House District 134 in 2020 and is currently seeking re-election. She has been one of our strongest fighters in the Texas House.
Ashley Lauren Simmons is running to serve as State Representative for Texas House District 146. She is a union organizer and a fierce advocate for Houston teachers.
We will be in Pecore Hall, the building south of the church, where there’s plenty of parking as well. Refreshments will start at 6pm, with the Meeting commencing at 6:30pm.
